Every time I picked up a camera I'd hear a voice saying, <em>\"is this setting correct?\" <\/em>or<em> \"will this come out right?\".<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out photography and fix my mistakes in post.\r\n\r\nRecently, I sent out a survey to a group of photographers asking them about their biggest struggles in photography. To my surprise, lacking confidence was mentioned over 70% of the time.\r\n\r\nSo, how do you build confidence in your photography? I believe the secret to building confidence is using a confidence builder, (a.k.a. a light meter.) Most photographers think a light meter only gives you a correct exposure but it does much more.\r\n\r\nLet's say you want to take a photograph of five people using a strobe light but you're not sure what gear you should use or which light modifier will cover your subjects best?
